About Kyoto Grand Mosque

Kyoto Grand Mosque, officially known as the Kyoto Islamic Cultural Center, is one of the primary mosques in Kyoto serving the local Muslim community and visiting travelers alike. Located in Kamigyo-ku near the Kamo River, the mosque holds all five daily prayers in congregation and offers Friday Jumu’ah three times each week to accommodate the growing number of worshippers. Wudu facilities and qibla markings are available inside.
